Good Roots Orchard – Enjoying the Abundance

Good Roots Orchard is a small family-farm in Central Alberta that grows a surprising variety of amazing fruits, nuts, and vegetables. We believe that healthy soil results in healthy, delicious food and we want our farm to produce the best, most delicious, healthy food you’ve ever eaten. Good food comes from Good Roots!

This site is still under construction. (And so is the orchard!) But don’t worry – planting has begun and there will be an abundance of fruit, nuts, and vegetables available soon! We have over 80 varieties of fruit currently growing and we are still planting more!

Plums, Cherries, Apricots, Pears, Apples, Haskaps, Saskatoons, Raspberries, Strawberries, Walnuts, Hazelnuts, Gooseberries, Lingonberries, Blueberries, Jostaberries, Mulberries, Elderberries, Kiwis, Grapes, Chokecherries, and Seabuckthorns…. and we’re still planting more!

Our first crops will be available in summer of 2022.
